The button labelled SORT beneath each field's 'match value' entry box permits you to sort the records you FIND in EZedit by that column. Only ascending sort on only one column is supported. By default, the first column will be used for sorting.

This feature improves EZedit's behaviour over pre-v2 versions, in which a Changed record fell to the end of the set of Found records -- which could be confusing. Now the records will always appear in the same order, unless you Change the field you are Sorting on.

Push one of the SORT buttons and then use FIND, to see how the choice of field to SORT on will change what you see.
